Alanna Bennett is a screenwriter, culture writer, and novelist whose debut novel, THE EDUCATION OF KIA GREER, is out now and being developed as a TV series by Fox Entertainment Studios. Born in Hollywood and raised in Portland, Oregon, she’s written for film and television, notably Roswell New Mexico, The Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy, and the Emmy-Nominated XO, Kitty. Through her published work for BuzzFeed News, The New York Times, Teen Vogue, The Cut, Vulture, Refinery29, Glamour, Eater, and many more, she’s tackled topics as diverse as homelessness, the dark side of celebrity, and the legacies of Nancy Meyers and Nora Ephron. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, her cat, and her perfect balcony.
