Kate Christensen
Bio
Kate Christensen the author of ten published novels, most recently Welcome Home, Stranger and The Arizona Triangle, a detective novel published under the pseudonym Sydney Graves. Her fourth novel, The Great Man, won the PEN/Faulkner Award for Fiction. She has also written two food-centric memoirs, Blue Plate Special and How to Cook a Moose, which won the Maine Literary Award for Memoir. She has taught both fiction and memoir writing at numerous retreats, festivals, and MFA programs, most recently the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. Her newest literary novel, Good Company, will be published in the summer of 2026. The Sacred & the Divine is her YA debut. She lives in northern New Mexico with her husband, a screenwriter, and their two dogs.
