Read today’s Author Interview with Cinda Chima; her list of pies will not disappoint.
Who and what would you bring with you for the zombie apocalypse?
Zombie repellant and one of the Seven Great Blades
If you could spend a week in any book world, which would it be?
Would I have to commit to a week? Or could I just, you know, try it out and if I got into trouble, make a quick exit? For instance, I’d like to visit George R.R. Martin’s Song of Ice and Fire world, but nobody is safe there—the body count is super high.
What is the best word (in any language) and why?
Disgruntled. I only have to hear it and I’m less gruntled.
Who are you most excited to see at YALLFest?
I’m just hoping to get my picture taken with some famous authors. Of which there will be many fabulous examples.
What is your favorite flavor of pie?
Do I really have to pick? Or can I, you know, waffle a little? Can you waffle when it comes to pie?
OK, here’s a list, in no particular order:
Blueberry pie with oil crust like my mother used to make
Sour cherry pie, but not the kind with lots of cornstarch so it’s all gelatinous juice instead of cherries
Key lime pie
French silk pie
